The development of specialization Islamic banks function as an independent within the Facolty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 2010, in response to the requirements of Jordanian and international labor market. Where it characterized his plan to observe Islamic financial and banking needs at the local level, Arab and international, with a view to keep up with increasing the number of Islamic banks and the size of their resources in addition to taking the developments in Islamic banking and investment banks in order to achieve a balance between collecting deposits and employed depending on the conditions of the environment where there are teaching of specialized staff in operations the field of Islamic banking in the department.

The Masters programs in the specialization offered by the Faculty include two tracks:

  1. Comprehensive Exam Track
  2. Thesis Track

Excellence in providing educational, research and community services at the local, regional and international levels.

Preparing graduates with a distinguished and innovative profession in the specialization of Islamic banks to meet the needs of the local and foreign markets.

Program Goals:

  1. Providing the student with Islamic financial and banking knowledge to be able to deal with contemporary financial and banking problems.
  2. Providing the students with the strict Shari'ah rules according to the legal and changing texts that take into consideration the flexibility in solving the financial and banking problems according to the different time and place.
  3. Serving the local community through the formation of a cadre of specialists in investments in various sectors with the adoption of the ethics of the profession according to the rules of legitimacy.
