Preparing pharmacists with distinguished competence by adopting the highest standards in pharmaceutical education and training and upgrading scientific and applied pharmaceutical research directed to serving the patient and society at the local, regional and international levels.
Goals
In order to achieve the college's vision and mission, the college works to achieve the following goals:
- Providing the local, regional and international market with pharmacists with scientific qualifications and high professional ethics.
- Develop pharmaceutical services and participate in health activities in a way that contributes to improving health care in Jordan.
- Encouraging faculty members to conduct innovative scientific and applied pharmaceutical research, which contribute to the development of the pharmaceutical industry and community service at the local, regional and international levels?
- Providing students with the skills that enable them to pursue their higher studies in the various fields of pharmacy.
- Providing and developing continuing pharmacy education programs and expanding professional interaction with pharmacists.
- Developing the pharmaceutical training process through continuous improvement and updating of curricula and study programs.
- Preparing and training faculty members to carry out their educational and research tasks.
- Developing the capabilities of the administrative staff and the college staff.
- Communicate with graduates and meet the needs of the local market with pharmaceutical services.

Program competencies (PILOs)
Domain 1: Foundational Knowledge
1.1 Learner (Learner): Develop, integrate, and apply knowledge from the foundational sciences to evaluate the scientific literature, explain drug action, understand formulations, and industrial technologies.
Domain 2: Essentials for Practice and Care
2.1 Patient care (Caregiver): Provide patient care as the medication expert (collect and interpret evidence, prioritize, dispensing, patient counseling, and document activities).
2.2 Medication use systems management (Manager): Manage patient healthcare needs using human, financial, technological, and physical resources to optimize the safety and efficacy of medication use systems.
2.3 Health and wellness (Promoter): Design prevention, intervention, and educational strategies for individuals and communities to manage chronic disease and improve health and wellness
2.4 Population-based care (Provider): Describe how population-based care influences patient-centered care and influences the development of practice guidelines and evidence-base best practices
2.5 Dosage forms and dispensing (Formulator): Design formulations and compounding dosage forms with dispensing competencies.

3.1 Problem Solving (Problem Solver): Identify problems; explore and prioritize potential strategies; and design, implement, and evaluate a viable solution.
3.2 Educator (Educator): Educate all audiences by determining the most effective and enduring ways to impart information and assess understanding.
3.3 Patient Advocacy (Advocate): Assure that patients' best interests are represented.
3.4 Interprofessional collaboration (Collaborator): Actively participate and engage as a healthcare team member by demonstrating mutual respect, understanding, and values to meet patient care needs.
