The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the main departments in the College of Pharmacy, and one of the main pillars in the field of pharmaceutical education. The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to give the pharmacy student with the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to prepare qualified scientific cadres in the field of pharmacy. The department teaches various courses in the fields of pharmaceutical organic chemistry, pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, pharmaceutics, physical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, and cosmetic science, in addition to the courses concerned with drug design, development, and quality control.
