Hearing and speech are considered important and rapidly evolving health sciences. This specialization seeks to rehabilitate and prepare the students enrolled in this program and provide them with the skills and cognitive competencies that qualify them to diagnose cases related to speech, language, and hearing disorders. This specialization also provides them with the latest treatment methods and the best education and training strategies. The specialization includes many scientific and practical courses in both aspects of speech, language, and hearing. In speech and language, the specialization includes subjects such as language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, human voice disorders, cleft palate and resonance disorders, neuromotor communication disorders, speech disorders of nervous origin, language acquisition, anatomy and physiology of speech organs, auditory verbal therapy, cerebral palsy and swallowing disorders and fluency disorders. The hearing includes materials such as Anatomy and physiology of the hearing system, pediatric Audiology, adult audiology, ear nose and throat diseases, vestibular disorders, and fundamentals of cochlear implantation.
