Zarqa Company for Education and Investment Holds the General Assembly Ordinary Meeting for 2019

Zarqa Company for Education and Investment held, on Monday 22 June 2020, the General Assembly Ordinary Meeting of 2019 using the audio visual technique on Microsoft Teams, according to the provisions of the Defense Law No. (13) of 1992, Defense Order No.(5) of 2020, and the procedures issued by His Excellency the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply on April 9th, 2020, and his approval to hold General Assembly meetings.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, Mr. Aktham Al-Rawashdeh, deputy of the General Observer of Companies, and the Board members, after the quorum was completed, where the total shares of the attendees reached (12,744,840) of the company's capital of (16,500,000) shares, in the presence of (3) shareholders out of (1107) shareholders, which forms (77,242%) of the company’s fully paid capital.

It is worth mentioning that Zarqa Company for Education and Investment has a lot of achievements, distinctive, purposeful, and pioneer projects in various fields, which contributes to supporting and developing Zarqa University, Kindergartens, Zarqa University Schools, Zarqa Intermediate Technical College and Bright Light Company, in addition to the services it offers for society at both levels of the country and Zarqa governorate.

In light of the current circumstances affecting the Kingdom after the Coronavirus pandemic, and out of the social responsibility of the company, Zarqa Company for Education and Investment continued to provide the necessary support to the health services and medical care sectors, and supported the efforts of the Ministry of Health to confront the pandemic.
