جامعة الزرقاء - جامعة الزرقاء تشارك في مسرحية صامتة عن الأمراض النفسية

A group of students from Zarqa University, under the supervision of Dr. Malek Tarifi from the Faculty of Science, participated in a silent play about mental illness, which was presented  at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in cooperation with the Dopamine Association for Mental Health Awareness.

The students acted in a play entitled "You are my case" that explained the meaning of mental illness, and how a person with mental illness can return to normal life if they commit themselves to the treatment as prescribed by  clinical psychological therapists..

The play aims to raise awareness of the symptoms  of mental disorders, and that mental illness should not be taken as a stigma but an illness like any physical one and can be cured. It called upon the society to end their view of the  patient as mentally stigmatized..

This participation is part of the University's policy and philosophy in contributing to community interests, through the integration of students in volunteer work for the benefit  of the university ,students and the community alike.
