Imagine what happens if they were given to the machines! The researcher selected Naguib Mahfouz's novel "Palace Walk" to study the differences between human and machine translation. This study aims at comparing between the translations of human and machine as well as to investigate the strategies used by both. Finally, the researcher highlighted the mistakes and problems faced humans and Machines in translating cultural expressions from Arabic to English.

The conference was held to discuss the most important topics related to the science of translation and linguistics and methods of teaching English language. The conference was a good opportunity to discuss the latest developments in these fields and gave the participants opportunities to discuss new theoretical and practical issues.
