The Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University held a ceremony for
the Faculty's (45) students to take the profession oath for the second semester
2018/2019 in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Bassam
Al-Helou, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Nader Abu
Sheikha, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, and a number
of faculty members and students.
The head of the Zarqa University, Prof. Dr.
Bassam Al-Helou, in his speech, said that the profession of pharmacy is a
humanitarian one that had a big role in human history over the centuries,
pointing out that the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University enjoys a scientific
prestigious reputation among various universities, and is working to provide
all that is needed by future pharmacists in its various forms, whether it is
scientific or modern technology research laboratories to keep pace with the
aspirations of the world's future in the profession of pharmacy.
He stressed that the Zarqa University always
works to provide all what serves its students in various disciplines, to
contribute to the educational process, and serve the community and the nation,
and that the Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University provides its students with
privileged teaching, for it adopts teaching qualitative curricula in addition
to a highly efficient teaching staff-members.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the
University of Zarqa, Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, expressed her pride in graduating a
group of her children, who were hosted by the university and provided them with
knowledge in health care to be the best ambassadors of the Faculty abroad and
to be responsible in the performance of their profession.
Graduate students of the department of
pharmacy were legally sworn in to practice their profession honestly and
faithfully, and to maintain its secrets, and the ceremony included the most
prominent images, which stopped the students during their study in the Faculty.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Bassam
Al-Helou handed souvenirs provided by Pharmacy A for graduate students.
