Education and Investment Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera' and the attendance of the
President of the German-Jordanian University Dr. Manar Fayyad, "My Story"
exhibition for Syrian students was opened Thursday at Zarqa University, as
part of the Syrian / Jordanian Education Project funded by the European Union,
Zarqa University President Prof. Dr. Bassam Al-Helou said that the exhibition "My Story" aims to present the
students' stories and aspirations for the future, and gives them an opportunity
to express their hopes. He also praised the European Union's support for the student
education project and completing their studies.
The exhibition included many photographs and videos, in which the
students shared models of life stories of Syrian refugee and Jordanian students
in the hosting communities who are trying to overcome difficult living
conditions. Students are taught through the "Syrian Refugee Education
Project funded by the European Union to obtain a diploma, bachelor, and master.
The exhibition was attended by the Vice President of the
University, Prof. Nader Abu Sheikha, the deans of the faculties, the directors
of the administrative departments and students, the academic coordinator Dr.
Alaa Khalifa, the project director Dr. Diaa Abu Tair, Fawaz Al-Saqar and Sana
Farraj of the German-Jordanian University.
Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera' presented a souvenir to Dr. Manar Fayyad
and a memorial gift for students.
