The Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of Zarqa University, Eng. Samir Habashneh, visited the laboratories of
the Faculty of Technological Engineering on Monday, during that he was briefed on
the work progress at the faculty.
The Dean of the Faculty of
Technological Engineering at Zarqa University, Dr. Taysir Al-Ghanim, briefed on
the Faculty and its specialties, including Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical
and Energy Engineering, stressing that the Faculty contributes to the
preparation of qualified, trained and armed engineers with knowledge that are capable
of meeting the needs of the labor market. In addition to conducting applied scientific
research that serves technological progress.
During his visit, Eng. Samir
Al-Habashneh was briefed on the workshops and programs offered to students. Electrical
Engineering includes: Instrumentation and measurement laboratories,
electronics, electrical circuits, controllers, programmable controllers, power
electronics, electric power, electric machines, digital logic and
microprocessors, communication lab.
Mechanical Engineering includes
mechanical engineering laboratories, manufacturing processes, mechanical
dynamics and vibration, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics. Civil Engineering
includes engineering workshops, soil mechanics, hydrology, asphalt and roads,
Wind power plants, Thermal power plants, Laboratory solar energy.
He wished them further development
and progress that reflects on the educational process at the University.
